Civil Litigation
My goal as your attorney is to get at the heart of your legal issue as soon as possible. In civil disputes, that is usually about money. As your lawyer, I will to everything I can to settle your case if I believe that settlement is in your financial best interests. However, if the other side is unreasonable, I am willing and able to try the case before a judge or a jury.
Colorado Real Estate
For more than 35 years, my clients have depended on me for assistance with their real estate needs, including the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real estate, including rental properties, homes for sale by owner, and landlord/tenant disputes. Wills and Probate
Preparing a will and establishing trusts allows you to direct where your money goes and who inherits your assets. As your lawyer, I will help you prepare and modify your wills, draft a living will, establish powers of attorney, and make other arrangements to put your financial affairs in order. I also represent heirs and beneficiaries in probate administration and litigation. The three of the most important documents to consider in addition to a will are the power of attorney for health decisions, the power of attorney for financial management, and the living will.
Business and Commercial Law
My practice includes many aspects of business and commercial law, including the formation of corporations and limited liability companies, contract drafting, facilitating business transactions, negotiation, and conducting litigation when necessary.
Family Law
The practice of family law involves much more than just divorce cases, in Colorado these are referred to as a dissolution of marriage, it also includes the representation of clients in prenuptial or postnuptial contracts, domestic partner agreements and dissolution, divorce mediation, child custody, referred to as parenting time and decision making in Colorado, and child support issues, and dissolution of family businesses amongst other issues.
